- Reduced environmental impact: We favor an environmentally friendly approach by carefully recovering high quality oak. No trees were deliberately cut down for the manufacture of our trays. Ceramic is a natural material made of clay, an abundant material extracted from the earth in a more sustainable way than some plastics.
- Energy savings: The production of ceramics requires less energy than the production of some plastics, because it is produced locally from available resources and fired in traditional cob kilns, a dome-shaped structure, made with a mixture earth, sand and straw. The fire is lit inside the oven and the heat is retained thanks to the thickness of the walls.
